I am a PE teacher who has taught the subject for 14 years. I teach A Level to the OCR specification. I have worked for Ofqual to accredit the new specifications, so know the new A Level PE course inside out. I also teach G.C.S.E PE to the Edexcel spec. I am a practical moderator at GCSE level and an exam marker at A Level. I also teach BTEC level 3 Unit 1 and I have worked again for Ofqual to look at this vocational course and to compare it with others, namely the OCR technicals.

This is the entire powerpoint for OCR AS PE Biomechanics module. It includes the overall specification for Biomechanics. It contains slides for each of the modules: Newtons Laws, (Balanced, unbalanced, free diagrams), Centre of Mass, Levers (1st, 2nd, 3rd, mechanical advantage) and Technology in sport (limb kinematics, wind tunnels and force plates). As this is a new topic for AS and its probably the hardest to teach students, I made a powerpoint with everything I would need to teach this tricky module. It contains easy to understand words, pictures and step by step approaches to understand this area. It also contains some more recent past paper questions and answers too for certain topics.

The specification is on the left in pupil format with a table of AO1, AO2, AO3 for each part. Its good to get the pupils to see what they know/don’t know and how they can expand on their points and even evaluate or compare different parts, e.g. manual vs mechanical guidance.
I have handed them out to my students to fill in and then hand back so i can see areas of weakness for intervention.
This is topic revision sheets for Component 2 of the New Spec GCSE course. All the relevant information from each topic is included on one page. I am using mine as a booklet for my students who might miss a lesson, but they could be enlarged and put on the wall.

My students love them and ive emailed them all a copy!!

This is an end of unit test for the Respiratory System section of the NEW SPEC 2016 Edexcel GCSE PE course. It starts with a cover sheet (name, target grade etc with a FAR marking section to give feedback), and the grade boundaries to the new 9-1 scale (this is a guess, but once the boundaries are confirmed it can be updated). The next page has the specification for the module with the question numbers that test that particular section. Then there's the test with a student reflective box at the end. The last question is a 9 marker. There is also the answers too in RED to make it clear.
I am going to use them for my students and collate their results on a big overview sheet. Still working on that one!!
